Job Description:
As an Information Security Analyst, you will design & implement IT security systems to protect the organization's computer networks from cyber-attacks & develop organization-wide best practices. The successful candidate will monitor networks for potential threats, install security software that protects from online vulnerabilities, document breaches & report issues so they can be effectively handled & maintaining a working knowledge of new threats.


Responsibilities:
• System administration of various security-related systems.
• Generate documentation of our network security infrastructure.
• Interface with counterparties & vendors.
• Assist in managing & ensuring system backups with end users.
• Plan & implement necessary security measures to help protect data, networks, etc.
• Stays current with system updates, patches, & release notes to help prevent breaches & with security architectures & community.
• Coordinates & conducts end-user security training.
• Generate reports & manage alerts on varied systems to ensure correct configuration best-practices are being used.
• Perform scheduled audits of accounts on various systems & testing of security measures on schedule.
• Assist in tracking vulnerabilities affecting internal systems, managing security remediation efforts, & responding to security events & analyzing identified events.
• Aid in any corporate-led security measures as well as any compliance needs.

• Develop, test, & analyze the organization’s business continuity & disaster recovery plan to ensure operations will continue in the event of a cyber-attack/natural disaster.

• Own the organization’s business continuity & Incident Response Plan.
• Responsible for onboarding, off-boarding, & software provisioning to staff members.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security or related field from four-year college or technical school.
• Advanced industry certification strongly desired.

• 5+ years of experience in security operations.
• Strong project management skills.
• Familiarity with various types of security assessments.
• Knowledge researching, analyzing, & recommending security solutions.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality in daily operations & conduct daily duties in a detail-oriented appearance & manner.
• Ability to drive initiatives to a successful conclusion & committed to organizational & departmental success.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both written & verbally, with Senior Management regarding the progress & results of volume & timelines.
